Martin Šebesta Winery

A family winery with 20 years of tradition, growing grapevines on 10.5 hectares of self-planted vineyards on the famous Liščí Hill and Ořechová Hill in Březí near Mikulov. The character of the wines is influenced by the terroir, or the soil and climatic conditions. Our winery has abandoned its pursuit of medals and awards, instead making every effort to base our mission and lifestyle around everyone who wants to experience the beautiful world of wine and the beauty of the region below Pálava. To this end, a winery complex with a guesthouse was constructed in Dolní Dunajovice. Our motto is “Gifts of the earth, sun, and human labor”.

PORTFOLIO

Bottled attributive wines of higher quality. 80% of our production consists of white wines – Welschriesling, Rheinriesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pálava, and Sauvignon. 5% are rosé wines – Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the remaining 15% are red wines – Dornfelder, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. Most of our wines are dry and semi-dry, as well as semi-sweet, sweet, and special. Our total annual production is 70 to 80,000 bottles.

DEGUSTATIONS

For groups of 8 to 40 people with optional above-standard accommodations (24 beds). Seating in a cozy environment with a view of the Pálava and Holy Hill in Mikulov with refreshments. Suitable for corporate events and individuals.
